For example, Monty’s offers Island dishes with fresh seafood. Menu options include clam chowder, house-smoked fish dip, and a raw bar with peel and eat shrimp. Entrée options don’t disappoint; enjoy mahi-mahi, a chicken bacon and avocado sandwich, or classic fish and chips. Monty’s also offers live music, a happy hour, and spaces for weddings and other events.

For a luxurious dining experience, the Glass and Vine present dinners with a lush indoor and outdoor dining experience. The restaurant is nestled into the trees of Peacock Park and offers fantastic views while you dine on watermelon salad, local snapper, or spicy vodka rigatoni. They also various live music events and offer private dining.

Across the street from Glass and Vine is Peacock Garden Resto Bar and Grill. They offer a more casual atmosphere filled with historical photographs in a cozy yet fun interior. The restaurant also has a large garden area where diners can enjoy a meal under a canopy of trees. Dinner guests will be surprised at the eclectic menu that includes items such as the burrata, marinated eggplant with pesto and burrata cheese, or enjoy a cacio and Pepe; hitarra pasta with pecorino romano, Roma cheese, and black peppercorn.

Coconut Grove is known for its luxurious shopping options. CocoWalk is an upscale shopping center that includes local and national chain stores, restaurants, and a movie theater. The mall embraces the feel of Coconut Grove by having a wonderful tree and plant-lined courtyard that complements the shopping center.

Things to do

Residents of Coconut Grove have many options for activities. The area is known for its parks and marinas. Peacock Park offers walking trails that lead you out to the bay, a meditation garden, and multiple sports facilities. Across a small street from Peacock Park, Kenneth M. Myers Bayside park has a walking path and open green space for outdoor activities. The Coconut Grove Sailing Club sits nearby and allows members access to boating activities; they also offer sailing instruction and have numerous racing teams and sailing events.

Regatta Park sits along with the hub of Miami, City Hall, located across the street, and the park offers walking paths, a boat ramp, and picnic tables. In addition, there is an ample open green space where residents can enjoy outdoor activities and clubs. The park also hosts numerous festivals throughout the year. Goveroberfest is Miami’s annual beer festival with over 500 local craft beers that allow attendees to sample the selections. In addition, there’s also music and food from local restaurants.

Another great park in Coconut Grove is David T Kennedy Park, where you can relax in their green space or participate in a game of volleyball. In addition, there is a children’s playground and dog park on-site. Residents also enjoy working out on the outdoor exercise equipment or running on the tree-lined paths.
