WELCOME TO MIAMI SHORES

COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

A leafy, classic Miami village with bay breezes, beautiful homes, and country-club energy—without the “tourists-with-suitcases” traffic.

Miami Shores is a lush, residential village about 20 minutes north of Downtown Miami and roughly six miles from Miami Beach, loved for its tree-lined streets, architectural charm (Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival, MiMo), and a relaxed, community-first lifestyle.

Instead of high-rise living, Miami Shores is known for its beautiful single-family homes, sitting on large lots, a quaint “main street” feel near Biscayne Blvd/NE 2nd Ave, and easy access to the city when you want it.

What to Love

  • Neighborhood charm with wide, shaded streets and classic architecture
  • Biscayne Bay vistas and a calm, residential vibe
  • Country-club lifestyle with golf, social experiences, and dining
  • Parks + recreation that actually get used (not just admired from the car)
  • Quick access to Downtown, the Beaches, and the Design District corridor

Local Lifestyle

Miami Shores feels like “old Miami” in the best way—neighbors, bikes, morning walks, and a strong sense of community. It’s residential and peaceful, but you’re never far from the action when you want dining, culture, or nightlife.

Luxury Amenities & Elevated Living

Miami Shores’ version of luxury isn’t about doormen and elevators—it’s about space, privacy, and lifestyle access:

  • Miami Shores Country Club: A historic 18-hole championship golf course with club facilities and a full calendar of activities.
  • Club-style memberships: Options designed around golf and social use, with benefits like advance tee times and clubhouse access (varies by membership type).
  • Recreation facilities: The village’s Community Center programming includes courts and activities like basketball, pickleball, racquetball, camps, and more—great for a “members club” feel without the velvet rope.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Miami Shores is more boutique than big-box: expect local favorites, cafés, and neighborhood staples, plus quick access to larger dining/shopping hubs nearby. The commercial areas are relatively compact, which keeps the village feeling residential.

Things to Do

  • Village parks & facilities: Multiple parks and community spaces support everyday quality of life—walking paths, fitness areas, and year-round programming.
  • Golf + social events: The country club is a centerpiece for recreation and gatherings.

Schools

Miami Shores is served by Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and zoning can be confirmed using the district’s school assignment tools.  Miami Shores Elementary is a key local public option and the school’s site notes it earned an “A” rating for the 2024–2025 school year
